Welcome

This is our teenBiotech challenge. Our project is on genetically modified crops and how they have impacted our soicety. There will be information on how GMOs came to be/history of them, why some people like them and some people dont, problems with patenting GMOs, and the pros and cons of them.

We will be addressing:

• background information on GMOs

• a GMO timeline

• innovations and economic impacts genetic crops have had on our world

• ethical, legal, and social issues concerning modified crops
